Local pool builder wins three awards at state design contest

Tequesta, FL – Local pool builder, Almar/Jackson Pools, Inc., received three awards in the Florida Swimming Pool Association’s (FSPA) annual Design Awards contest.  They received two Gold Awards in the Residential Pool and Water Feature categories, and a Bronze Award in the Residential Pool category.

Their Gold Award in the Residential Water Feature category was awarded for a project built in Hobe Sound.  The landscape architect was Dailey Janssen Architects.

They also took the Gold Award in the Residential Shotcrete/Gunite Pool 701 sq. ft. and over category for a pool they designed and built in Hobe Sound, and the Bronze Award in the same category for a pool built in Jupiter, designed by Curtis-Sinclair, Inc.

“The FSPA Design Awards is a chance to recognize some of the best pools being built in Florida by FSPA members,” said FSPA President Pete Coccaro.  “The excellence and quality exhibited in these pools is a true testament to the builders.”

This year, 22 awards ranging from Best of Show to Award of Merit were given out. The winners were selected by a Design Awards Committee, which consists of knowledgeable professionals, and were recognized at the annual Orlando Pool and Spa Show in February.
